Kinship Resource Network is a 501c(3)

Kinship care. Children living with  relatives (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.0 or fictive kin (those people who are known by the family but are not related by blood). These caregivers take on the primary responsibility of raising the children.
The corporation strives to empower kinship families through provision of services, training, resources, and advocacy. KRN collaborates with partners in the community to work towards strengthening these families who are in unexpected circumstances.

How we help you:

  • Guiding families towards harmonious transitions in a group setting.

  • R.E.S.E.T is an enrichment training module that was designed especially for the kinship care provider. This training will cover a number of key issues for relative care providers including the definition of kinship care, types of kinship care, family support systems, transition for child and care providers, dual loyalty, separation, loss and grief; continuity of family, and
    supporting relationships.


    In-Service training developed specifically for family or can provide current in-service training.

  • Providing training seminars specifically designed for kinship providers/caregivers.
